Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bean is a 3 month old male puppy from our coffee litter(DOB 8-6-21). We were told by the family he came from that his mom is a Dalmatian-Bulldog mix and her Dad is a purebred Rottweiler from the breeder that lived next-door. We don't buy any of it. Bean has the lightest hazel eyes we've ever seen and his markings suggest he might be a Border Collie/Bully mix? We may never know Bean's exact genetic make-up but we believe temperament is much more important. Bean is an active, physical boy. He has a slightly high energy level than some of his littermates (maybe a 7-8/10) which would make him an excellent pet for an active family. Our trainer has begun working with Bean and his littermates on their core skills, and she describes Bean as "highly bidable", which is trainer speak for eager to learn and easy to train. The ideal home for Bean would be one committed to continuing that training, either on their own or with the assistance of a qualified dog trainer (we can recommend an excellent one 😉). Bean has a rougher play style so we would not recommend a home with other dogs that could be described fragile or sensitive, however, Bean is not reactive - he is simply a big boy that likes to play hard.
Bean is crate trained, uses potty pads when they are available, and has a solid potty training foundation that will strengthen with time and consistency. He is being fostered in a home with other dogs, both large and small, old and young. His adoption fee includes up to date vaccinations, deworming, microchip, flea/tick preventative, and spay/neuter. If this is the puppy you've Bean waiting for, please email us at howlelujah.rescue@gmail.com.
