My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Grace - a beautiful 6-8 year old beagle mix who weighs 18 pounds. Grace came to us from a rural shelter in the south, where she was found as a stray. Grace is super sweet and loving and likes making new friends. She gets along with the other dogs in her foster home - she doesn't pay much attention to them and just wants to be near her foster mom. S he excitedly greets her foster mom with tail wags and butt wiggles when she gets home and likes to follow her around the house.

We think Grace would like a canine sibling to play with or bond with. If there are children in her foster or forever home they should be respectful kids, 8 years and up, since she has not been in foster with kids. Grace needs a home where her humans are at home a good portion of the day. She is house trained and crate trained. Grace is spayed and up to date on vaccines. NOTE: Grace is heartworm positive and will be going through treatment soon. This does not prevent Grace from going to her forever home. The adoption fee for this dog is $300.00 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter.
