Meet Ellie, a lovable girl looking for her forever home! She was adopted as a puppy and was recently returned due to a breakup and no fault of her own. Since she spent her whole life in a home, the shelter was initially very overwhelming for her, and she can sometimes be nervous and take a moment to warm up to new people. She is doing much better at meeting most people and is generally happy to see most visitors. Once she settles in, she is happy and playful and cannot get enough affection. She lived with children in her previous home and did great. She may do best with older kids as she turns into a bit of a bowling ball when she gets anxious (as she may be initially settling into a new home) and may knock over a small child. She has never shown any aggression. She gets along well with other dogs. No cats please. She also rides well in the car and was excited to see everybody when she`s taken a trip to the vet. With her wagging tail and joyful spirit, Ellie is ready to bring warmth and happiness to your home. All she needs is a chance to shine! Come meet this fantastic girl at our shelter!
