My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am called Happy because my tail hasn’t stopped wagging since I got out of the shelter and into foster care. I found myself at the shelter after some time on the run. I was covered in mats and had to be shaved. I feel so much better now. It’s a truly Happy Thanksgiving for me. The only thing to make it better would be a home to call my own.

I am interested in everything in my foster home. I have two little foster sisters and am very gentle with them. I am good in the car and enjoy walks although I walk slowly as an older gentleman should.

I know how to use the doggie door and do my business outside. I do not mark in the house, and I don’t get on furniture. My hair is silky soft, and I enjoy being petted and groomed. I just had a dental so my teeth are nice and clean, and I don’t have any doggie breath.

I am learning how to sleep in a crate at night. During the day, I like to nap on a doggie bed near my foster parents. My favorite place is a Kong bed under foster Mama’s desk (see the pic).

My stats: I am a neutered male weighing in at a trim 34.5 pounds. I’m 11-12 years old. My eyesight is good and my hearing is so-so. I am microchipped and up to date on my shots. I have no known health issues. My adoption fee is $100. Please submit an application for me.
