Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello, everybody! My name is Yukon and I’m quite a handsome fellow, wouldn’t you say? My foster family says that I am a sweet, smart and very lovable bunny, who is very inquisitive. I love to jump up on things and can be found napping on chairs and even up on the back of the couch!
My foster mom says that I am a bit shy and reserved. I am a little nervous around new people, so it takes me time to feel safe. I am not a fan of being picked up or held. I will run away and hide when someone tries to pick me up. When it’s my own choice, I do really like to sit on the couch with my foster mom, sometimes even on her lap, to be petted. In fact, I love affection and will seek petting and human attention on a frequent basis😊
One thing I am not shy about is TOYS!!. I love blankets to dig at and bunch, apple and pear sticks and wooden chew toys, my stuffed animal toy, objects I can jump on, tunnels and old phone books. They are super fun to rip the pages out and shred!
Being a smart, inquisitive bunny, I have been known to chews cords, carpet, furniture or other items in the house. That is why you’ll need to do lots of bunnyproofing in my new home to make sure I stay safe. Because I like to chew, it’s important to only allow me to have access to safe, digestible objects in the new home. Seagrass mats, wicker balls and cardboard are pretty nice to have.
My litter box habits are excellent! I always tinkle in the box, and hardly ever leave any poos outside of the box. It’s hard for a bunny not to kick a poo or two out of the litter box once in awhile😉
I really love salad time each day! My favorite greens include green leaf lettuce, parsley, cilantro and carrot tops. I’m also a big fan of treats! Slices of carrot, dried papaya and timothy biscuits make me hop for joy!
