Hi Everyone: My name is Charlee and I’m a very sweet female Puggle who loves to snuggle. I was recently surrendered to Just Paws as my family couldn’t give me the attention I need due to their busy lives, so they made a tough decision to let me go to a new home. I’m slowly adjusting to my new environment but I’m a little timid and scared right now trying to figure it all out.

I’m at my Foster Mom’s home where I have a foster brother name, Charlie! Yes, it is becoming confusing with having the same name, but we like each other so we are dealing with it. I’m friendly and affectionate girl who can be timid at first when meeting new people (and sometimes men can make me nervous) but after a short while I warm right up to you. At my other home, I lived with two young children, and I was wonderful with them so I do like kids.

I like getting lots of attention and having company most of the day. It is great my Foster Mom and Charlie are home with me. I love to be petted and I will let you pet me all day if you want! I like to go for walks but I pull on the leash so probably I would do better with a harness. I know my commands to sit, roll-over and stay. Bonus, I’m house-trained!

My Foster Mom is getting to know me so she will be providing updates soon. “She does say I’m very sweet and I like to be in the office with her and Charlie while she is working. She says I’m very muscular and in great shape! Don’t let her age discourage you as she is great. She loves to look out the window.”

Please note that although many of our dogs get along with children, we are not able to adopt to any household with kids under the age of 8 years old. This is a stipulation of our insurance and is not a reflection on suitability of the potential adopter.

Our adoption fees are as follows:
$800 for puppies (approx. 1 year and under)
$750 for adults (2-6 years)
$600 for seniors (7 years and up)

All new pet parents will receive 6 weeks complimentary Pet Secure Accident and Illness Protection for any dog adopted from Just Paws. Once activated, the trial will cover veterinary bills up to $500.00 for accidents or illnesses, excluding pre-existing conditions. Please note that Just Paws is not responsible for insurance issues that may arise with your chosen veterinarian
