My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

These 6-month old sisters were picked up together as frail, malnourished, and unhealthy strays on the Navajo reservation. They survived homelessness as babies together, are great pals, will only be adopted together, and only to an incredible family.

Today they are strong, healthy, very well mannered, and are well adapted to family life. They are completely housebroken and use a doggie door, are vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. They love car rides, walk great on a leash, know the basic commands of sit, stay, laydown, and come (and of course the crowd favorites of sit pretty and the hokey pokey).

They have incredible poise when out in public settings and are not bothered by crowds or traffic. They are at ease in stores that allow dogs.

They have two distinct personalities. The smaller girl is more confident in new situations and very athletic. The larger of the two believes her role is to keep an eye on her people and keep them safe.

Since being picked up, they have transitioned to a diet to promote intestinal health, immunity, and overall general health through a variety of nutrient rich foods that are more in line with a species-appropriate diet. This includes:
1. Grass fed, lean raw beef
2. Raw eggs
3. Wild Alaskan salmon oil
4. Pumpkin
5. Mushrooms
6. Freeze-dried organic beef organs
7. Colostrum
8. Bone Meal Powder
9. Victor Yukon River kibble

Their DNA test has detected the following breeds:
1. Australian Cattle Dog
2. Great Pyrenees
3. German Shepherd Dog
4. American Pit Bull Terrier
5. Golden Retriever
6. Labrador Retriever
7. Border Collie
8. Collie
