Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**Courtesy Post** I have a purebred shorty rough coat Jack Russell Terrier with an undocked, natural tail that I have to re-home. Her name is Gemma. She is a 6 year old sweet, loving and adorable JRT who has average to moderate energy; she is happy to just chase her small, soft rubber balls in the house if need be, although she does love to go out and sniff around the yard if the opportunity is there. She is a great pet, she is gentle AND potty pad trained. She is also house trained, but actually prefers to use potty pads for some reason, but does do her business outside if taken out regularly. She is crate trained, spayed, up to date on all her vaccinations and heartworm negative. She is allergic to beef and chicken, and is currently on a lamb diet. She needs to be in a home with someone who is home most of the day and where she is the ONLY pet. Although she doesn't "resource guard" her food, treats and toys, she DOES resource guard her human against other pets, which is why I have to re-home her. I have her sister also and the two of them have gotten into fights a few times and it seems to be happening more often as she gets older. She is very sensitive and when scolded for growling at her sister, it hurts her feelings and she has been spending more and more time off to the corner by herself and it breaks my heart. She needs to be with someone who is home most of the time and where she is the only pet and she doesn't have to share her human. I am happy to keep her here in my home until a perfect match can be found. She needs a securely fenced yard. Her adopter must have a good vet reference. If you are interested in Gemma, please email her owner and she will send you an adoption application. There is a small rehoming fee and her adopter must be able to drive to the Warren, Ohio area to get her. Gemma’s Owner: kscraig2014trek@gmail.com
