My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I’m lovely MADY. I am a 1 year old female and I’m about 27lbs. Unfortunately I’m not hypoallergenic and I do shed. But other than that, I’m absolutely wonderful! I’m a real people dog and love everyone I meet. I haven’t met any small children but I would be just fine with kids (as long as I was supervised because I do like to jump up and play with my paws so I could scratch someone by accident) and I could live with kids over 10 who know how to interact properly with dogs. I have met lots of other dogs and I get along great with all of them. I think I may like to live with another dog if possible. I am not sure if I could live with cats (and I do chase squirrels) but if you have one who is dog friendly, we might be ok.
I am such a good girl in the house and do my business outside. I love playing with toys (tug of war with my furry foster sister is one of my favourite games). I also love lying on my foster pawrents on the couch - I think I’m a lap dog. I really love playing in the yard with my furry foster siblings while supervised (because I am a flight risk). I am not able to be off leash unless it is in a secure fenced in area.
I don’t want to be in a crate and as long as you make the house dog safe, and put your shoes away, then I am fine to have free roam of your house.
I really love playing in the yard with my furry foster siblings while supervised (because I am a flight risk). I possibly could live in a condo if someone was willing to take me for lots of walks and carry me if I got scared in the elevator until I got used to it. Remember, I’m over 27 lbs so I know not everyone would be able to do that. I also do love to bark when I hear noises so keep that in mind if you live in a condo.
I love being with people and my furry foster siblings so I need a family who won’t leave me alone all day (even after covid). My foster family says you will fall in love with me instantly and is hoping to find me the most wonderful family that I deserve.
