This gorgeous boy is a 5 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who was adopted as a young boy but recently came back to our rescue due to a changing family situation. He is a medium sized guy at 43 lbs. Ross has spent time with other dogs but currently is soaking up the attention in a 5-person family who loves to give him attention. He prefers to live as an only pup, and has too much prey drive to live with cats. He has soft fur and a gentle disposition. He is not a big kisser but accepts petting and treats!

Ross is used to a good deal of exercise such as walking with his family, visiting, and he even attended a hockey game.

Ross loves toys and has lots of them; he likes to play catch. He sleeps with his family in bed or on the couch and is not destructive when left alone. He is interested when the family is prepping human food, and he waits patiently when putting on his raincoat or getting toweled off after a walk in the rain. He walks well on leash but will pull towards other dogs or humans and can be loud in this situation which is not always welcomed by other dogs and their owners. He can be reactive in these situations with other dogs. He's definitely a people guy!

Ross is not a barker when at home. He got a chance to visit the ocean and did dip a toe in but was surprised and decided to stay on the sand.

Ross will not be adopted into a home with very small kids but he lives with three older children now and absolutely loves them. An active family will just love this boy!
