My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little doozy is Zelda, thought to be a Lad/Pit mix, probably more on the “Pit” side. She and her sister Princess (adopted!) were rescued off the mean streets by a Good Samaritan. Zelda is all caught up on age appropriate vetting and ready for her forever home.

Zelda is a sweet, playful girl who is eager to please. She is 6 months old and 31 pounds, so she will probably grow up to be about 55 pounds. She loves car rides and walks. She is great with every dog she meets. She’s happy to submit to a dog in charge but can run and play with the big guys. She’s very food motivated and loves learning new things. She can sit, shake and lay down (but only for treats, haha)! She’s crate trained and is making strides in potty training. She’s still learning not to jump up on people or furniture.

Her favorite things are food, pets behind the ears, chew treats, kids, snuggles, and playing with other pups. Due to her high energy and potential prey drive, Zelda is likely not good with cats or any other that may move quickly.
