My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I’m Chet – check out the twinkle in my eyes and this dazzling smile! I’m about 10 years old, weigh just under 60 lbs., and I’m a mellow fellow and quite laid back. I walk well on a leash, except for when I see something I want to explore. I love car rides and belly rubs. I love other dogs, I ignore cats, and I love life!

My foster parents have a three-month old puppy, and she thinks I hung the moon. She climbs on me, lies on top of me, and that’s perfectly okay with me. With my older canine siblings, I’m docile, whatever than means – I think it’s good. I have a crate, but I am so well-behaved, I’m not using it. Mostly, I like hanging out on the couch, especially with my people, and I love watching TV!

As to any bad habits, I sometimes like to check out what’s on the kitchen table, but a NO from one of my foster parents sends me away. I like to swarm the front door to see who is coming to visit me, but it’s just because I’m so happy to see who’s there.

My foster dad says I’m the most well-behaved rescue dog he has ever fostered. My foster parents say I would be happy with or without dogs, because I’m just so agreeable. Want to see my dazzling smile? It’s irresistible!
