Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ella was rescued from a city pound in Gapyeong, South Korea.
Ella is a a fun and playful girl. She will always ask for pettings and attentions from people. She is not shy towards strangers and will approach first to welcome them.
With other dogs, Ella is very cheerful and playful; however, she may be little too excited at first encounter and sometimes seems rude to the other dogs. She needs to be calmed down before meeting a new dog. After a short introduction time, She will have no problem hanging out with them. She also tends to evade rude dogs.
With cats, Ella shows high excitement and pulls to reach the cat. She was allowed to sniff the cat while under control, but she still showed high interest. Though she showed no aggression, cats can be irritated or annoyed.
During walks, Ella gets very excited at first and pulls on the leash, but after a while, she will calm down and follow her handler well.
Ella may be left off-leashed in secure environment and recalled well. However, she is prone to follow anyone, including strangers, so be wary of her getting lost by following strangers.
Ella has good appetite, yet she doesn’t resource-guard. No carsickness. She tends to bark when it’s time to go outside, but this barking may disappear when she lives in a home.
Ella is currently being fostered in Ontario.
Letter from Ella's foster family:
Ella has continued to impress us over the past couple of days. She’s walking much better on a leash than when she first arrived (thanks for the help and resources everyone!) but still gets super excited for walks. She does calm down quickly though as she knows that we won’t head outside for her walk until she does. There is still some progress to be made while she is outside but she’s definitely a quick learner and is improving a lot.
Ella has also made great progress on her house training and is quickly learning new commands every day. She knows to wait patiently for her food and to not jump up on the kitchen counters when we are preparing her dinner and has made great progress on her potty training. She now knows to only go outside and will sometimes even let us know if she needs to go early because she can’t hold it anymore!
**Ella is spayed. All vaccinations are updated.
**Ella is currently being fostered in Toronto, Ontario.
**The adoption fee for Ella is $750 CAD.
