My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tastic - SPECIAL NEEDS!
DSH
DOB 4/1/21
Black and white
Adults only
Tastic is available for a long term fospice placement. He has a severe neurological deficit resulting from an illness when he was a baby.
Requirements for fospice include an adult only handling environment, attendance to bodily function every 3-4 hours during the day and no more than 6 hours alone at night, a home visit and bring within an easy hour drive of Vallejo.
Tastic is a joy but he does not walk and must not have face to face playtime with other animals. He lives, primarily, in a soft sided playpen so that when he is active his unpredictable movements do not result in injuries.

More about this rescue

Community Cat Advocates and Rescue is a rescue based out of the Bay Area. Primarily we go into community cat colonies, TNR any unsocialized cats and rescue all friendly adults and all kittens. We do this because our mission is to stop kittens being born on the streets and minimize the suffering of feral cats. Not only do we fix, vaccinate, test, treat for parasites and handle any medical issues we come upon for cats we rescue but we also fix and handle any medical issues and we find in the community cats we come into contact with.
