Meet Paisley ~ Paisley is 9 months old and such a lover. When we met Paisley we were near capacity with our foster homes and could only take the two pups we agreed on before arriving and only one more additional dog in order to help the shelters overcrowding dilemma. There is rarely a history on these dogs which makes judgement calls difficult when bringing animals into homes with other animals. We walked halls of dogs in kennels twice. This girl had an injured elbow and the sweetest temperament, she bounced and tried so hard to follow us with her face plastered against the kennel bars. She stole our hearts both times through the halls. She is so friendly and her personality shone through even with her obvious pain. Paisley would have likely been euthanized before the end of the business day. We chose her, or I should say, She chose us. She hopped right in the truck got right in the kennel and was a perfect little girl.
Unbeknownst to us, Paisley was also sick when we picked her up. She wouldn’t have survived there either way. Paisley was a perfect patient while receiving great care in rescue and is now injury free and a Parvo survivor. Paisley’s health is 100% now. Paisley has been spayed and fully vaccinated. She loves people, big and small, loves other dogs and Toys. She is a high energy 9 month old puppy, keep this in mind before requesting an application.
