Liberty was wandering the streets looking for a bit of kindness and someone to help her with her soon to be born babies. Luckily, a rescue group took her in and just in the nick of time - she gave birth right away to a beautiful litter of 5 babies - 4 calico and one black and white boy. PAWS was called and we opened up a space for this beautiful mom and her babies. Liberty is a beautiful cat with a shy and "standoffish" personality. She is very timid and will take some time to get used to your home. Once she gets to know you, she is ok with being petted at her request but for the most part, she is good with admiring you from afar. Given enough time and patience, I do believe she will become a little more affectionate and loving. She is thought to be about 5 years old. She would not do good in a home with small children. She is also petrified of dogs so she will not be adopted to a home with a dog. If interested, please go to pawspaws.org to complete the application. Once approved, we will set up a meet and greet to see if you are a fit for her! Thanks for your interest!!!!

Once we receive the application, we will process it and call you if approved to set up a meet and greet.

Meet the Pet
If we feel you are a good match, we will complete the Adoption Contract,review with you, and collect the adoption fee.
4.
Take the Pet Home
Then we will send you and your new family member home!

Dogs: The adoption fees for PAWS puppies and dogs start at $200. Occasionally, the adoption fee will be higher and, if that is the case, it will be noted on the animal's profile. When you adopt your new dog or puppy, it will be spayed or neutered, wormed, micro-chipped, and up to date on routine shots. If it is six months or older, it will have been tested for heartworms and placed on a heartworm preventative.
Cats: The adoption fee for most PAWS kittens and cats is $75. When you adopt your new cat or kitten, it will be spayed or neutered, wormed, micro-chipped, and up to date on its shots, with the exception of its rabies shot, which must be given by a vet. IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO ADOPT A CAT OR KITTEN, BE SURE TO BRING A CARRIER OR PET TAXI WITH YOU. WE CANNOT SEND A CAT/KITTEN HOME UNLESS IT IS IN A CARRIER/PET TAXI.
We certainly recommend that you continue your pet's routine vaccination regimen with your veterinarian.
SAME DAY ADOPTIONS ARE NOT ALWAYS POSSIBLE, SO IF YOU ARE DRIVING FROM A DISTANCE, PLEASE MAKE ADVANCE ARRANGEMENTS.
IF YOU RENT, YOU MUST BRING A SIGNED RENTAL AGREEMENT FROM YOUR LANDLORD STATING THAT IT IS OKAY FOR YOU TO HAVE AN ANIMAL IN THE HOUSE. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A RENTAL AGREEMENT, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TAKE THE COMPANION ANIMAL OF YOUR CHOICE HOME WITH YOU.
OUT OF STATE ADOPTERS ARE ASKED TO PAY THE ADOPTION FEE IN CASH.
