Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Buckley, a 2 1/2 year old Australian Shephard /Collie mix, about 70 pounds. He lives with 2 smaller dogs and they do not get along as he shows aggression when guarding resources and he tries to herd them which they do not enjoy. He shows no aggression to myself or my wife and kids (11 and 14). He is protective and loving but really is a working dog and would be better around no dogs or dogs closer to his size. He also shows aggression when being walked on leash towards other dogs and humans (this is border/leash anxiety). He goes to daycare once a week and there have been no problems reported there. While 'guarding' our home he has nipped 3 people in the butt. He recently completed an intensive 6-week therapy program. (Canine Behavioral Services in RI, board and train aggression and pack cohesion program)Unfortunately, there is still aggression to the other dogs in the house and we can no longer keep him.
Buckley is located in Connecticut and needs to be re homed. If interested please email BakerBridgeRescue@aol.com, we will give you more information.
