Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Ruffles. Ruffles is a spayed female and approximately 4 years old. Ruffles is a little pudgy from her life of leisure for the past year.
We believe Ruffles had a rough beginning in life. We rescued her from a hot RV in August of 2020 and found her a wonderful home with a senior lady for the past nine months. Unfortunately due to medical issues, her adopter had to move in with family, leaving Ruffles in search of a new forever home.
Ruffles enjoys being the only cat and was shown to be dog friendly when initially fostered in 2020, but has not been around dogs since. She is a quiet cat, laid-back, and chill BUT told she is very playful and loves her toys. She is shy and uncertain until she gets to know you. In just in a matter of a few days, she has warmed up to foster.
Her past owner tells us that she is the kind of cat that will always be at your side. Ruffles will follow you around, wants to be near you, laid on her desk when she was working, and loves the companionship of a human, maybe because she feels more safe with her human nearby.
We feel Ruffles prefers a home on the more quiet side, that is what she has been used to for the last year, so best not a busy and active household for Ruffles.
She comes with her very large cat tower, favorite toys, blankets, and premium dry food that was given to us by her previous owner. Thank you for your interest.

The Foundation for Homeless Cats focuses on the stray and homeless cat population, utilizing TNR (Trap/Neuter/Return) to tackle overpopulation. Our kitties really have no one else. Most have been abandoned, neglected, traumatized, some abused. We take them in, heal them-medically, physically and emotionally and once ready they are listed for adoption. So please give these kitties a chance at a new life of love and care.
