Hi! My name is Gertie. I'm often called Gertie Gumdrops because my foster folks find me adorable. I was found in the woods very, very skinny at 32 pounds, but am putting on quite a bit of weight. I now weigh in at 47.5 pounds! My foster mom thinks I should be about 60 pounds, so I still have a little more to gain. I love other dogs and am even good with cats. My foster mom has taught me to crate up when she leaves which I'm doing very well. I love car rides, long strolls in the park, and playing with my foster siblings. They're crazy but I love um. I'm interested in meeting an amazing family to finally call my own!
