Meet Gemma!
6 months

Hi, my name is Gemma! I am a sweet, very smart girl with a lot of energy. I like walks to help me exercise and love to throw ball and bring it back to you. I know sit and I will shake, down, and bed. I am working on stay, leave it and rolling over. I need lots of chew toys because I like to work my teeth, so having toys helps me not get into trouble chewing on things that I am not supposed to.

Other things I need to work on is pulling on the leash. I am doing better, but it is helpful to say “leave it” when I see distractions and to have treats for rewards when I do. I am also working on my puppy mouthiness still. I am VERY treat motivated and learn fast but need to keep working on these skills.

I like to watch TV! You will catch me intently watching. I also like ice cubes! I like to sleep with my humans in the bed, but can sleep in my kennel instead with a little bit of coaxing. I will sleep all night and rarely need to go out in the middle of the night.

I am a very smart girl. I am athletic and strong. The perfect home for me will be an active one that is willing to keep working on my training.
