My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dusty is the new playmate in Papillons and Playmates Rescue. He is super sweet and mellow. Poor baby was in a shelter after being impounded as a stray on the streets. He had no ID and he was filthy, smelly and suffering from an eye infection. It is a sad mystery that no one claimed him as he seems to have known love at some point because once here he immediately became an affectionate Velcro dog.

Dusty is a Pekingese mix, possibly part Maltese. He weighs 9 pounds and is about 4 years old. Bathed and brushed, he is gorgeous, though he would also look adorable clipped. He actually loves to be groomed. He leans back in your arms like a baby, almost swooning. He is good on a leash and, as his housetraining needs some work, he would do well with frequent walks. He gets along with other dogs and likes to meet new people. We only adopt in San Diego, Orange and parts of Riverside County in CA, with no exceptions.
