Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Maggie is an approximately 11 year old red tri Aussie, currently being fostered in Charlotte, NC. This sweet girl has been through some heartache. Her owners died and the family surrendered her and her sister to the shelter. Maggie and her sister, Belle, were rescued from the shelter by ASF. Belle sadly died this year after a prolonged illness. Maggie is now on the search for her forever home.
While she is a senior lady, she still loves to run around the backyard. Maggie would prefer a home with a fenced yard to explore. She gets along well with other dogs, although she is best with a more sedate, submissive or respectful companion.
Maggie is currently being fostered with Dallas who is also up for adoption. She does like to chase cats, so no kitties please.
Maggie does resource guard her bones from other dogs and people. She will need an adopter who understands how to properly handle this issue. She does not have any aggression with food or water. Due to her guarding behavior, we feel she should not be in a home with no children.
If you feel that you can provide a safe, loving, relaxing environment for Maggie, please submit an adoption application.
