My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Freya is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so she is willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home.

Freya came from a small town dog pound. We are unsure of her breed mixture but she looks like she is some type of terrier mix. Freya is estimated to be around 6 months of age and she weighs around 25 pounds. We think she is going to be a smaller, medium-sized dog - maybe 45 pounds - when grown. Freya is very active, outgoing, silly, and playful. She really loves toys, treats, and playing with other dogs. Freya has not been around cats so she might be able to get along with one if properly trained. Freya is very smart - she has learned to sit for treats, comes when called, and goes in her crate by herself when it is time for bed. She is doing really well with house training, and she recently learned to play in the wading pool. Freya is still a puppy that must be trained and further socialized. She must be in the house as a loved member of the family. She must be walked on a leash and she would like to have a securely fenced yard to run and play.

Freya is healthy. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and has been started on monthly heartworm and flea preventative. Freya has a $500.00 adoption fee which includes the cost of ground transport via Mightly Mutt Shipping for pickup in White River Junction VT or Brattleboro VT. She is being fostered in Texas and will not be sent north until after she is adopted.
