My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tom is a handsome 1 year old Border Collie / Husky with one brown eye and one blue eye. Tom has not had an easy first year of life. Despite his hard times he is a delightful young dog, charming and extremely friendly to everyone he meets. Tom was found as a stray by one of our volunteers, he was living by the side of a highway. She fed him and being the trusting dog he is, he came to her and she brought him to us. Tom was obviously hit by a car and had a broken leg; he was dehydrated and throwing up pine chips. Despite his obvious pain he displayed a friendly personality. Tom has been fully vetted, he has had surgery on his leg and he is now healthy and waiting for the lucky person that will claim him as their own. Please call 718.595.2161 to meet Tom.
