PLEASE scroll down and read the ENTIRE BIO. It is lengthy, but has ALL INFO we know. Emailing and asking for more info is only going to hold up your process and risk your chances of the dog you want being gone. BUDDY is in SALEM, Ohio. HE is fully vetted including: neuter/rabies/Bordetella/parvo distemper vaccine/worming/heartworm lyme test/heartworm-flea prevent while in rescue. We do not ship dogs, we do not transport dogs, we do not hold dogs. You must be ready to adopt within 72 hours upon approval.
FULLY VETTED ADOPTION FEE is: $75
BUDDY'S adoption fee is reduced to a senior fee of $75.00. All dogs ages 8 and over are fully vetted and available for $75.00, as we understand senior animals can require more care.
** PLEASE NOTE: Since we are a shelter, the majority of our dogs have not had the luxury of a foster home. As a result, what we post in reference to their behavior, temperament, likes/dislikes etc is only what we witness here and not in a home atmosphere.
Thanks for stopping by to check me out! My name is BUDDY and I'm about 52 lbs and around 8 yrs old. I came to the shelter after I was found locked in the basement of an abandoned home where I had been for quite some time. Let me tell you some things the girls here at the shelter have discovered about me...good stuff is as follows: I LOVE people... ALOT! I do GREAT with my potty habits!! I am EXTREMELY handsome!! I LOVE car rides!! I would be an EXCELLENT "letting you know someone is at your door" dog!!. OK, so now the not so good stuff: I Love toys and food!! As a matter of fact I love toys and food so much that I "guard" them from anyone that attempts to take them from me. I like kids but due to my guarding issues, kids would not be a wise choice. I am leash reactive and not dog friendly which means that when another dog is in my sight I will do whatever I need to do to try to get to said dog and not in a friendly manner. As a result I am NOT able to go to a home with another dog! I would require a fenced in yard due to my dog aggression. I guess that kinda sums it up! But there is so much more to me and if you complete an application we can meet up so you can see for yourself just how wonderful I am!! love, buddy xoxoxo
