PLEASE scroll down and read the ENTIRE BIO. It is lengthy, but has ALL INFO we know. Emailing and asking for more info is only going to hold up your process and risk your chances of the dog you want being gone. CARLEY is in SALEM, Ohio. SHE is fully vetted including: spay/rabies/Bordetella/parvo distemper vaccine/worming/heartworm lyme test/heartworm-flea prevent while in rescue. We do not ship dogs, we do not transport dogs, we do not hold dogs. You must be ready to adopt within 72 hours upon approval.
FULLY VETTED ADOPTION FEE is: $125
** PLEASE NOTE: Since we are a shelter, the majority of our dogs have not had the luxury of a foster home. As a result, what we post in reference to their behavior, temperament, likes/dislikes etc is only what we witness here and not in a home atmosphere.
Hello my fellow animal lovers!! My name is CARLEY, I am around 4yrs old old and weigh an embarrassing 20lbs! Yup, that's right I'll admit it, I am CHUBBY so please don't even read any further if you are not in a position to assist me in my newly found weight loss journey!! It's going to be hard enough for me to do this so I will need the support of my new family to help me get back in shape. Ok, now that's out of the way let's talk!! I cant remember who my real parents are but the girls here at the shelter are saying that they believe one of them to be a Manchester terrier and the other a Rat terrier?? I LOVE to snuggle with all the workers here at the shelter . On their laps, in a chair, on the floor and well, any place is a snuggle spot for me. As a matter of fact, I love humans soooo much that I am not a fan of sharing them with other animals! That's right, I am an attention hog! So a home with no other animals is best for me...I can be a bit ummmm, Bossy with other dogs. I am an awesome "ball fetcher" and can play ball as long as someone is willing to throw one for me. Kids? If you have them, I would only do well with ones over the age of 10 because I am quite hyper and it is unsure if I am willing to allow a child to take a toy/ball out of my mouth. So older, respectful kids would be fine. I'm just a happy lil girl who enjoys life and is grateful for a soft, warm, loving place to land. I walk good on a leash and am doing good with my potty habits. I am crate trained. I am a VERY active girl who loves playtime, walks, car rides and then loves to settle in beside my human for some Animal Planet on the tube.
