My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*PLEASE NOTE: Tanner requires another dog in his forever home and an active family. The first step in the process is to fill out an adoption application on our website: roversretreat.org *

Meet Tanner! Tanner is a precious lab mix with who knows what else! All we know is that this guy is going to be a BIG boy. At just 13 weeks Tanner is 23 pounds and has quite large paws. Tanner has been settling in at his foster home and is ready to find his forever home.

This cutie is an incredibly cuddly boy who loves attention from his people. He could sit on your lap for hours on end. He is super affectionate and you can count on tons of kisses from this guy every day. He is a love sponge! Tanner is a velcro dog who likes to know where his people are all the time, but will definitely go off on his own at times to play with his doggie foster siblings or on his own with his toys.

Tanner is being fostered with his brother, a 6-month-old medium-sized dog, and a senior small breed. Tanner gets along well with everyone! As a young puppy, he does have a lot of energy and plays most of the day with his brother and foster sister. He can annoy his older foster sister sometimes with his crazy energy, but he has listened well to her corrections. Tanner will need another playful dog in his forever home to show him the ropes and for regular playtime!

Tanner is an active pup who will need a family dedicated to lots of daily exercise and fun activities to keep him busy! He loves fetch and playing with his toys and will be able to start walks and hikes in the next few weeks once he gets his last set of vaccinations. Tanner is definitely going to be an adventure dog and would greatly enjoy a family who goes on plenty of hikes and fun outdoor adventures.

Tanner is still working on potty training and will need some additional direction in his forever home, but he is a very smart and food-motivated puppy so with some consistency he will be great!

If you think you can give Tanner a home with all the love, exercise, and play he needs to thrive please fill out our adoption application on our website: roversretreat.org

Any questions about Tanner can be directed to Sydney@roversretreat.org

*PLEASE NOTE: Tanner’s adoption fee is $500 and he is being fostered in Hawthorne.*
