My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sammy and Mac are brothers and were raised by a couple for 15 years. Unfortunately, the couple didn’t have enough time for them so they were never tamed to point of being held. Mac has a crooked beak that needs trimming from time to time but he has no problems eating. They are perfectly healthy, happy boys with a word vocabulary of over 70 words. They sing 🎶 Rocky Top 🎶 and the theme from Andy Griffith often, and they say “Bye Bye” whenever they hear car keys. They also say “Nite Nite” when it’s time to go to bed. They say many different things randomly, and they dance a lot. They really need a family or individual who can teach them to not bite or be fearful when being handled. They are very good boys in their cage. Our rescue doesn’t have a bird expert or tamer; otherwise, we would love to keep them forever. However, they deserve someone who understands parrots and can teach them to trust. They are completely bonded and cannot be separated. Experienced, qualified applicants will be considered.
