Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Gus the Cattle Dog, and true to cattle dog form, he is super smart, a little mischievous, and pretty high energy. Gus is a very loving boy and will ply you in kisses all day if you let him.
Gus is a working breed so he’ll thrive most with a job or two to do. He loves to play and when he’s tired out, he’ll snuggle up next to you for some good old fashioned R&R.
Gus gets along well with other dogs and would love a forever home with another young dog who loves to play. He will be better suited for kids over 8, simply due to his activity level. Anyone that will wear him out, will be his best bud.
Gus was found abandoned on an old country road, rescued by a Good Samaritan who instantly knew he did not belong out there just wandering about. He is fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped. He knows “Sit” and will crate with no effort. Gus can be mischievous when unsupervised so at least during the honeymoon phase, we highly recommend he be crated when left alone.
His adoption fee is $200 so please visit our website to submit an application if you would like to meet this little charmer.
