Please meet Liam who made his way all the way from Mexico to live the good life here in America! Liam is approx 2 years old and weighs about 65 pounds. He is a distemper survivor which means while living on the streets he survived the deadly distemper disease. He has a slight bob of his head from this but it doesn't affect his day to day living. Liam is a strong boy who will need an owner who will be able to control him on walks as he is strong and can be reactive to people and other dogs while walking. His foster is also working with him on his barking and he is significantly improving daily!
Liam is house trained and has not had an accident in his foster home and sleeps through the night without any issues. He is enjoys his walks and is currently getting 3+ miles a day! He would make a great companion for someone who loves to hike and go on adventures!
Liam loves people and enjoys being as close to his foster family as he can. He is still learning how to socialize with other dogs and will need a family who will be willing to slowly socialize him. Liam would do well in a home with another calm dog who will respect his space and let him warm up.
There is no doubt that Liam will make an excellent companion for the right person or family! If you are active, have the patience to give Liam the time and training he needs Liam could be the one for you!
