My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This silly boy is Gumby! Gumby is looking for his new forever home and would love to be a part of your family!
Gumby was surrendered to our shelter because his owner was moving and couldn't take him.

Gumby came into our shelter not feeling so well. We nursed him back to health and now he is nothing but a ball of cuddles. Gumby is the MOST affectionate kitten we have the shelter right now. Gumby just wants to love and be loved, he's not asking for much! Gumby was brought to the shelter with his brother, Goober, who has already been adopted. But, we know they did really well together so Gumby would settle right in with another kitty companion. His behavior with dogs and children is unknown but given his super sweet and affectionate personality, we suspect he would do just fine!

**Gumby has already been neutered and given his feline distemper vaccine along with a simple dewormer. He will be vaccinated against rabies and FIV/Feline Leukemia combo tested prior to going to his new home**

Gumby will have an adoption fee of $55 with an approved adoption application. This fee will cover the cost of his neuter, feline distemper vaccine, and simple dewormer. This fee does NOT cover the cost of his rabies vaccine or FIV/Feline Leukemia combo test. These additional fees are paid by his adopter directly to the vet clinic at time of pick up.

If you would like to meet with Gumby, you will first need to submit an adoption application which can be found here: https://www.libertymissouri.gov/DocumentCenter/View/193/Animal-Adoption-Application?bidId=

Once completed, submit to us via email at aco@libertymo.gov or by fax. Shelter staff will review the application and contact you to schedule a meet and greet.

The Liberty Animal Shelter is by appointment only.
