***MUST SUBMIT APPLICATION before we will respond to email or phone inquiries. Thank You for your cooperation***
Please read listings fully to the end before applying for one of our beloved rescues.
WE ARE NOT A SHELTER; WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS.
Please do not contact us to look at a dog. We will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application if we think your home might be a good fit. A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog.
We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes around the US and Canada, but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Newcastle, WA.
Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Zelle. We no longer accept Paypal due to their fees & charges but if the potential adopter wants to pay them we will accept PayPal.
Our wonderful Hae-Bom had a terrible start to life in Korea. Hae-Bom was living under a construction storage container in Korea & was rescued with her siblings. Off to the local shelter they went once they were found & poor Hae-Bom spent a year & a half in a cage in the shelter. No one was coming to give her a loving home. Thankfully our amazing Korean rescue friends rescued this girl before her life was to end. Hae-Bom went into the foster home & had to learn to be a dog in a caring environment with dog friends & she did & did amazing. Unfortunately she still could not find a home in Korea & we were asked could we help this beauty & it was our pleasure to.
Hae-Bom was rescued by the amazing Korean rescue & just as always we are beyond grateful to the Korean rescue & we are so extremely grateful for what they do day in & day out for these babies & there is also such a great financial responsibility when rescuing these babies so we cannot begin to thank them enough.
Hae-Bom was bought back to the USA where she is now a US citizen & is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever home.
Ohh this beautiful face match’s her beautiful, fun, sweet personality. She is a social girl & such a lovely soul who just wants to be loved.
Hae-Bom has a lovely personality, she is warm, friendly & affectionate & oh my, does she love to eat.
Did we mention you can pick this beautiful girl up & she will let you carry her? She loves to receive love & hugs & kisses.
She is doing well walking on her harness & leash but still would need work. She did end up having a foster home in Korea who worked with her & helped her flourish.
We do know she adores dogs, she loves them & she absolutely needs another dog or dogs in the home for her to play with, this is mandatory. We currently have Hae-Bom with other dogs. Did we mention this girl loves a good outfit, well yes she does.
Having toys & a warm bed is all new to Hae-Bom until she went into her foster home in Korea & she loves toys, so get the toy box ready for this beauty.
Hae-Bom’s new forever home must have a fully fenced backyard.
Hae-Bom rides beautifully in the car & loves a good journey, so great in the car. We are looking for a crate free home for this little lady only. Hae-Bom does not like crates & who could blame her. With all the time she spent in a crate in Korea, it’s no wonder she doesn’t ever want to go into one again. We are also looking for a forever home for Hae-Bom where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them.
Hae-Bom is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be patient with her.
Hae-Bom has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & she is currently with other dogs & does well. Hae-Bom needs to go to a forever home with another dog or dogs in the home, she really enjoys the company of other dogs & we currently have her with other dogs. This is mandatory along with a fully fenced backyard.
Hae-Bom is roughly 23 lbs & has put on so much weight with us & oh my goodness does she love to eat. When we got her, she was a little skinny. She is 4 years old & perhaps a terrier mix, what she is mixed with we are not sure, female, she is spayed, had a dental/scale & polish, she was treated for an ear infection on the inside & outside of her ears with otomax & antibiotics. She is microchipped, up to date on her shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, rabies, treated with credelio & dewormed.
We have spent far more on Hae-Bom with bringing her to the US with her travel costs, her medical, her dental, boarding fees etc & bringing her to WA than her adoption fee covers.
Hae-Bom has not been around cats since being in the rescue, but in Korea she used to chase the cats so a home with no cats is needed for Hae-Bom. But it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not had her around small children so we do not recommend small children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & cats.
We were not there when Hae-Bom was conceived so we do not know who her parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is.
As with all of our rescues & Hae-Bom’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Hae-Bom potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond.
We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying.
Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Hae-Bom & going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit via WebEx due to covid & followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Hae-Bom who understands her needs & that meet all the requirements for this special sweet little lady.
Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately.
Hae-Bom has an adoption fee of $995 & is ready for her truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what she has been through.
