Meet Matilda! This lovely lady is ready to find her forever home, and she wants her new family to know these 10 things about her:
1. I am a Cane Corso and I am about 5 years old.
2. I am small for my breed, and will probably never weigh more than 90lbs.
3. My previous owners didn’t take very good care of me. As a result, I have limited vision in one of my eyes, a saggy undercarriage from having too many puppies, and one of the worst ear crop jobs you’ve ever seen. I’m not worried though, because the nice people at the Bullpen tell me that my forever family will think I’m beautiful and love me no matter what.
4. After a proper introduction, I’m a social girl, and I like most everyone that I meet. I think I would do well in a home with children over 10, as long as they weren’t too loud or rambunctious and had some previous experience/training with big dogs.
5. I’ve hung out with some other dogs here at the Bullpen and it was great. I wouldn’t mind at all if my new people had a male dog, as long as we were allowed a slow integration.
6. I haven’t had much experience living with cats, so I can’t say for sure if I like them or not.
7. The words that best describe me are affectionate, easy-going, and sweet.
8. My favorite things are sunbathing, being with my people, and getting treats.
9. I am excellent on a leash, housebroken, and I know how to use a dog door. I also know some basic obedience!
10. I am fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, spayed, and microchipped.

We highly recommend that our potential adopters fill out an online application as soon as possible, as it greatly expedites the process of finding the right dog for your situation.
Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a "perfect placement" so we know that they will not be failed again.
