What is a name? One day a scared little bulldog girl came into the rescue broken hearted; abused both physically and verbally by a man, so very afraid, unhappy and her spirit severely broken. I was given the honor of fostering and renaming this little dog. Thinking long on an appropriate name for this little dog who just wanted to be loved.
So blossomed GIZI! Gizi comes from the Ojibwe word zoongizi that means: she is solid, strong, powerful and difficult to break. Gizi is housebroken and crate trained. Gizi is a young gal with lots of energy.
Gizi enjoys life, is excited to be with you, very clever and oh so smart. She will sit patiently on the spot where her food bowl goes for her meal, after she has escorted you to where the food is kept first, of course. Gizi enjoys a good antler or Nylabone bone, and is a stuffed critter killer. She will protect you from the water monster that comes from the hose while helping to water the flowers.
Update: Gizi was adopted out and returned because she did not get along with her fur sibling. She is now looking for a home to be the only pet. She absolutely loves all humans. She is so sweet and would be your best companion.
