My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

What a difference 7 months can make!

We had no idea that Simba and some of the other dogs we had pulled from a shelter in the high desert had distemper. What ended up being the most exhausting and saddest holiday season ever left just one dog alive. Simba. Three different times veterinarians told us that he would be lucky to make it through the night, and each time, he pulled through. Now Simba has recovered from distemper, done his 4 months of quarantine, and is ready to find his forever family.

Simba suffered from neurological distemper which left him with a bouncing tick. He can still run and play, loves toys and treats, eats like a champ and adores people. So if you are looking for a snuggle partner, Simba is your guy. He is still building his muscle tone.

====================================================================Simba is a fighter. He was in pretty bad shape when we rescued him with a case of kennel cough. He's going through his medical treatments and getting a little better every day. He seems like a sweet boy, loves his comfy beds and being pet softly on the head.
