My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please read this complete bio before getting in touch. To adopt from us you will need to read this then go to our main site at www.spokanewienerdogs.org and see the To Adopt page and fill the form in online once you read some requirements while scrolling. Thanks.

The adoption fee for this dog is $300.

Rain is simply adorable, happy, smart, and a very active year to two old pup. He plays all the time being part Min Pin and dachshund, is our educated guess on his mix. He is about 10 pounds of playing and still learning some manners so will need work in his new life.

He might be part chihuahua/Min Pin too. We do not waste money on DNA kits when we can use that to help adoptable dogs.

Do you want a puppy but do not want to start from scratch? He might be your new boy. He plays too hard with small dogs so large or medium sized dogs only or no dogs is fine by him so he gets all the attention.

No cats please when they would be his chew toys. This is a sweet dog but he is all hunter.

He would also do well in a single dog home as long as folks play with him and give him room to zoom outside. He will not do well in an apartment when he is high energy.

This boy can be loud and pushy so he will need more time and training. Rain does enjoy lap time too. He is coming along in his training and learning "hush" nicely so will be a great dog if someone will continue his training when adopted when pups never train themselves.

He also does not trust kids due to past experiences so adults only please. He is a friendly dog but is shy right at first.

His shut off switch seems to be a dog crate. Too funny when he is crate trained.

This one loves every toy on the planet and will entertain himself.

Want a playful pup who is almost housebroke? He does use potty pads inside but we are working on getting him completely housebroke outside which he is doing very well with that. Again, he is a puppy so needs work. Do not apply for him if you have kids or do not have a fenced yard. This one needs to run off leash a lot to have manners. Thanks.
