Rory is a 12lb. - 2-1/2-year-old Lhasa Apso/Maltese. Rory had a rough start in life. He had been severely neglected his hair was so long and matted that the shelter could not tell what kind of dog he was. When we rescued him, he was not happy, and he let us know he snapped at everyone.
Rory has since had lots of love, a good haircut and a few bathes and some good food and has also been medically cleared. Now that he is feeling better you can see his softer side coming out. He really wants to be loved and cuddled which he now does with his foster mom and dad. Rory is crate trained and walks well on a leash, Also likes riding in cars. We find out more about him each day! He really is a unique pup!
Rory future Furever Home would be a home environment with no children and no other pets. Also, someone that understands he needs time and patience to adjust. Rory absolutely craves to be loved but at the same time he is scared and cautious. So we are looking for someone who wants to help him become the loving cutie he really is!!!!
