Meet Hickory, a handsome white and gray, short-haired 6 year old lovebug. He came to us years ago with his mom, Constance and his brother, Hunter on the Freedom Ride from a high-kill shelter when their time had run out. The kill shelter told us about this little family because they were so sweet and gentle and they were worried they would not make it out. Sadly, AFTER 4 YEARS in foster care, Hickory is STILL with us. We don't understand why and poor Hickory is beginning to give up hope of ever finding his family and his forever home. He is a sweet and gentle soul and deserves a family who loves and cares about him.

Hickory is a quiet, unassuming cat and is still playful. He is loving, likes to be held, and comes to you for affection.. He loves a quiet window where he can look out at wildlife or what is happening in the world. He is shy at first but warms up within a day or two and gets along well with other cats, but prefers a loving human to sit and watch t.v. with - a Hallmark movie or sports, he is not picky.

Hickory is neutered, received FVRCP and Rabies vaccines, combo tested negative, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration - you won't need to pay to renew every year, we've done it for you! Our adoption process requires you filling out an approved adoption application, meeting your future family member, and signing a contract. Fees vary depending on the cat - their socialibility, age, and how long they have been looking for their furrever home. Fees range from $35 to $65. All cats are spayed/neutered, feline leukemia tested negative, and have had their first set of vaccines.

Our rescue is dedicated to the cats that have been forgotten - strays that are shy and frightened, abandoned cats that once had a home and are trying to come into a home for shelter, cats that need a little more TLC than most to trust again.

These cats are struggling on our streets to be noticed, struggling for survival. They need our love, our compassion, our help.

They are the forgotten cats.
