My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sunshine (Sunny) is a little over a year old, and she is some kind if retriever mix. I rescued her from the SPCA where they did not have much information on her. They got her from a shelter in Tallahassee that had run out of space. She came here with her sister who was adopted out before Sunny was.
Sunny is pretty timid when she first meets people, but after some treats and some pats she warms up quickly. She does not seem to have much life experience as many situations are new and scary to her, but she learns quickly. She loves spending time on the couch with her person, but she also loves fetching toys, going on walks (once she has gotten used to the area), and chewing on bones. She needs to be in a home that has the time for her energy needs. She does not need to be the only dog in the home, and she currently lives with a small animal. We do not know how she is with cats or small children.
She knows basic commands, is crate trained, and she is almost fully housebroken.
