My name is Rocky, and I am looking for a forever home. I was trapped on a farm by people who thought they were trapping a raccoon. That’s kinda funny in a sense but they were quite surprised to find a cat and not a raccoon – not the kind of coon they were expecting! It was determined that I was not, and am not, a feral but I am really shy. I am not aggressive and do great with other cats – I love to tussle with them and tumble around on the floor. I also like dogs OK. I am just still a bit shy around humans so I need someone who is patient and understands that it will take a while for me to warm up. Please….I’d really like another cat in the household to play with. If you have a huge and patient heart and a cat playmate for me, please consider adopting me. I am very thankful to be inside away from the terrors of outdoor life, and am looking forward to a home that I know will be my own forever.

Adoption Fee: $175 which includes neuter, combo test (neg/neg), rabies and FVRCP vaccinations, dewormed, flea treatment/preventative. Rocky also comes with a complimentary microchip registered to Maine Coon Rescue.
