Looking Glass Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) virtual rescue, using a network of dedicated fosters throughout the Northeast to care for our animals until adoption. You may be required to travel if approved for adoption.
Meet Willow: Surrendered with her litter as newborns in TX, Willow is now with her New England foster, loving life and learning all sorts of farm things with her foster siblings. She is good with all other dogs (even the grumpy ones), respectful of the horses and cows, and polite to both the indoor and outdoor cats. She is almost fully housebroken, sleeps quietly in her crate for almost the whole night (then her foster mom caves and snuggles a bit with her after a quick jaunt outside), she is working on leash training and recall training, and hangs out uncrated during the day with her foster siblings. And, Willow rides perfectly in the car. Willow would do best in a home with another dog(s) as she loves the company and takes cues from their good behavior. She is a higher energy girl when outdoors and is an awesome candidate for any sort of sporty or active family. Willow is one of those whip smart female dogs that become your dog of a lifetime. Even better is that she's sweet as sugar and rarely uses her powers for evil! She picks up on training quickly, and loves to carry her tennis ball on walks; I could see her totally thriving with someone who wanted to do agility, or someone who likes to run/hike. But she's a mellow couch potato inside and just wants to hang with her person/the other dogs, the perfect combination!
