Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Ranger is ready to find his new forever home. He is a 31lb, 11 month old Border Collie. This boy is crate trained but is looking for a new home that will have little crate time. He’s still very much a puppy and needs to spend lots of time with his family doing fun things like bonding, playing and training. While Ranger is very sweet and loving with people, he’s “game on” when it comes to other dogs and playtime so another playful, friendly dog in the home would be ideal. He would be okay in a home with a dog savvy cat.
Ranger is neutered, vaccinated, tested heartworm negative, treated for external and internal parasites, and microchipped. He is also crate trained, potty trained and leash trained (pulls a little so could benefit from a gentle leader). One additional thing to note about Ranger is that he was injured (dislocated back right leg per vet has healed as is) as a puppy. He gets along fine and it doesn’t seem to bother him but you will notice a different gate in his hind end.
Please no apartments, condos, or mobile home parks. A home check is required. Yolo County adopters preferred, but will consider other locations.
If you are more than 100 miles away from Yolo County please be aware that there may be a small additional expense associated with travel cost.
No out of state adoptions. Adoption fees are non-negotiable.
If you are interested in meeting Ranger, email us and we will send you an adoption application. (include your location in the email) The adoption fee for Ranger is $650.
*Vetting includes: Neuter/spay, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, heartworm test, flea preventative, heart worm preventative (including the remainder of their 6-month supply), and any other necessary vet care.
