Meet Lucky, a handsome adult dog whose personality shines through his actions. He's the epitome of loyalty, always ready to offer a comforting presence. His resilient spirit is infectious, making each day brighter. He's incredibly sweet, with a playful streak that promises endless fun. He is picky about his toys (likes hard ones) and loves to run. He specializes in zoomies. Curiosity is his middle name, as he explores the world around him. Lucky can be a bit timid and fearful, often preferring the security of having loved ones close and quiet moments of solitude. He is protective of his family. His cuddly nature makes him the perfect companion during peaceful times. When meeting new people or animals, he will be fearful. Patience will win him over. He has played well with some dogs but others frighten him. He did well with the other 2 dogs in his foster home (60 and 30 lbs.) If you have a dog, you'll need to bring it to meet him to be sure they are compatible. He might not be fond of cats. His shy nature means he needs to live in a calm household, so children will need to be at least 15 years old. He weighs 47 pounds and enjoys walks, water, tugging, and car rides but it's hard to get him into the car. You will need to go slow and have patience but Lucky's capacity to love is endless, making him the most lovable creature you'll ever meet. His previous owner said he was not house broken because he lived outside during the day. But he has not had any accidents in his foster home when let outside often or overnight in his crate. Please be patient as he learns a new routine. Adopting Lucky means gaining a faithful friend, a source of joy, and a beacon of hope. Give Lucky the chance to fill your home with love, loyalty, and unforgettable memories. For questions about Lucky please contact his foster mom, Wendy, at wpmarkgraf@gmail.com (tw, wm 9/17/2024)
