My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet our new foster from St Charles County Animal Control. Jack. You do not find Staffordshire Bull Terriers very often in rescue. He is a two year old handsome fire plug of a guy that is house and crate trained. Knows basic commands and loves fetch. Staffies are high energy dogs that love walks, games, and cuddle time. He is good with children. For more information please email us or St Charles County Pet Adoption Center

More about this rescue

We are an IRS certified, 501(c)(3) non-profit charity (so all donations are tax-deductible) and all of our foster homes are licensed by the state of Missouri. Because we are an all-volunteer charity, all donations go directly to helping animals in one way or another.

Our purpose is to promote interest and participation in the rescue, foster, and adoption of animals from area pounds and from owners who can no longer take care of their animals due to age/illness/death. We strive to match animals in need with committed adoptive homes. In addition, we are strong advocates of spaying or neutering your pets. When funds permit, we sometimes provide help for those who can't afford to have their pets spayed or neutered.

Our first priority is to rescue dogs and cats from the pounds, particularly those that are to be euthanized soon. As space allows, we also accept strays that are turned in by people who rescued them from the streets.
