2+ year old spayed boy Ziggy was surrendered to us by his mom's family due to her health issues, being in and out of the hospital. The family said they didn't have the right living situation to take on a large dog, so they had him boarded at a local kennel where we had one of our cases at. The kennel staff brought Ziggy to my attention. I met him and conducted a dog test in the playground. He did amazingly well and thanks to a wonderful couple who have fostered for us in the past, he moved in with them so we learn more about him. Here's what his foster mom has to say about him:
You will not meet a more loving dog! Ziggy found his way into our hearts in the first few minutes of arriving at our house. He is friendly, well-mannered, energetic, and so so cuddly. He plays really well with our golden retriever and is polite enough to leave our old labrador alone. He is also super smart. In the short time he’s been with us, he’s already learned not to jump on people (well, we are 80% there). He will be an excellent dog for an active family. He is young and could use a reasonable amount of exercise. We have been working with him to stay home alone and he is doing really well. He is house trained, but does not love to do his business in the rain - so he needs a little supervision on rainy days. Any dog experienced family with children over 12 is lucky to have Ziggy.
