Elektra's story:
Elektra was surrendered to our shelter when her previous owner no longer wanted a pet. Unfortunately, the sudden change in her environment took a toll on her, she would constantly hide inside of cat trees or at the very top of shelves.
However, after a few months of being with us, Elektra has really begun to show her quirky and loving personality. Anytime visitors come in her room she is happy to hop down to lower level shelves to get pets. In fact, she loves scratches and head rubs so much, she has almost fallen off those same shelves a couple times while rolling around to thank new friends for the lovins'. Volunteers have also reported her climbing onto their backs and nuzzling into their hair while they try to scoop the litterboxes.
Elektra can still be nervous sometimes, so a home with low activity/noise would be ideal. Elektra has a beautiful coat with hints of orange splashed through out.
