Kirby's story:
Kirby was surrendered to our shelter after her previous owner no longer had to means to take care of her. Kirby is an adorable chonk, who is looking for her forever home while we try and help her shed that excess weight.
Kirby was pretty terrified when she first arrived, but with some treats, time and patience, she is starting to come out of her shell. We are hopeful there is someone out there who would be a perfect fit for her.
Kirby is currently one of our office cats, and we have learned a lot about her! She will play with anything (pens, bottle caps, paper clips, you name it!) She is a food-monger and will always inspect whatever our office staff is having for lunch. She isn't keen on being picked up, but is always ready for pets!
Kirby would do best in a relatively quiet home with no small children or dogs. Help us find this sweet girl a home!
