My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Margi is bringing the party where ever she goes!! She's your outgoing friend that will talk to anyone at the event. Her excitement for life just bubbles through her; from nose to tip of her tail!!

Margi needs some help though learning when it's time to party and when it's time to just chill with a relaxing movie. She loves her two and four legged friends, but the small two legged peeps watch out because she may just knock them over with excitement. And all though yes she is past her puppy years at 2 years old, she still just as ready to go as ever!

It's been a little bit of a roller coaster ride for Margi the last few weeks in her search for her forever home. Everyone loves her, but she needs that special person or family that is really going to take the time to work with her. She knows she needs to be the vv best doggo and she is so ready to channel all her excitement and energy into being the perfect pup.

She'll be a star candidate for some training classes and lots of outdoor adventures to put her little brain to work and burn off all that energy. We just know the perfect home is out there for her!!

Visit our website to see our weekend Events here! Pup’s with the designated “meet me” next to their names are in CT and ready to attend adoption events. Please check with your adoption coordinator if you are interested in a specific dog prior to coming to an event, as a dog's availability to attend can change at any time. We can not guarantee approval on site at the events, so we recommend applying ahead of time. You can apply at the event, but the application process may not be able to be completed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!

The adoption fee is $500 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog tested negative for heartworms and has been treated in our care.

If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.

TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back.

After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
