My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Magilla is a 7 year old harlequin male with cropped ears. He came to us because his owner was deathly ill and needed to go into the hospital. Magilla continues to be a wonderful, sweet boy who causes everyone to fall in love with him who comes near him. However, he does have some medical issues that cause him to be a bit of extra work for his family. The first is that he does have a mild case of megaesophagus. This causes him to throw up quite often, especially if he's upset. His foster Mom says his temperament is just stellar and is a hard guy NOT to love. It makes all the extra work worth it.
Update 4/21/10 - Magilla is officially housebroken. He's very playful with the female Dane in his foster home, and has fun at the dog park and the beach. Magilla has attached himself to his foster Mom and has some issues with protecting her when it comes to large pushy males. Smaller dogs, toy dogs, no problem but pushy, dominant large males he has a problem with. He is a changed animal. He constantly wags his tail, he plays, he runs, he's great with ALL people, cats, elderly, children, babies, teens, men etc. Magilla falls easily but is really muscling up and is much more sound than he ever was. He is also far better with his separation anxiety. He still has it, but understands that we will be back.
