My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sergio is back with us. He was adopted out Spring 2021 but it wasn't the right match for him. When he initially came to us, he was not well-cared. He was allowed to run stray, almost get hit by cars and was so matted and flea infested. We took care of all that and found him a home. So, he's back with us and we know more about him now. He is currently in boarding and the staff adores him. He loves them all and loves his toys. His quirk is, he does not want to be picked up. He needs a home with no children and an owner who will be patient and respect his wish to not be handled. He loves pets from the staff but they know now to not lift him. He can bring so much joy to the right home. He truly is a loving boy who needs a little extra understanding. Neuter, shots, microchip provided. 5 yr. 15 lb

More about this rescue

Homeward Bound Pet Rescue was founded by a team of volunteers with many years of experience in pet rescue. With over 20,000 companion animals being euthanized each year in the Midlands of SC, our goal is to save as many as possible from this dreadful fate. Rescue is expensive, so your help is needed in order for us to save lives. Each pet receives prompt medical attention, is spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped before being adopted into a loving home. Medical care is our main expense. We also must purchase microchips, heartworm and flea preventions, food and many other supplies. We are an ethical group of volunteers who promises to use every penny for the rescue, care and adoption of pets in need. All donations are tax deductible. No Paid Staff!! Click our PAYPAL link below or mail your check to PO Box 4335, Irmo, SC 29063 THANK YOU!!!
